Hello,

In the summer of 2006 I was operating a portable table saw and a chunk of treated lumber got shot into my leg. I pulled the wood out with a pair of tweezers, and put some neosporin in the wound.

Since then a pea size area of black skin developed where the wood was. I just assumed that it was scar tissue.

Recently I was on antibotics for a wicked cold and the area shrunk by 50%……

Is it plausible that this area of black is some sort of staph infection?

…did anyone else agree with every single thing Edward Norton’s character (Derek Vinyard in the movie) said during the scene of the movie where the family is at the dinner table?

I feel horrible about myself agreeing with a **** (obviously a ficticious one, but nevertheless) but I watched that scene a couple times and everything he says I agree with!!

Anyone else have similar feelings? I’m just wondering if I’m alone here.
