Dewalt tile saw & extend a fence & profiling 2of2

Posted in Dewalt on April 12th, 2010 by table saw – Be the first to comment

2 OF 2 This video will show you how to use the dewalt with the extend-A-fence. It is designed to extend the distance of the saw fence up to 19-1/2″ on Dewalt. This will allow the user to make multiple same-size cuts with precision and accuracy. When the guide is set on a 6″ mark, it will cut the tile exactly 6 inches. Measurement tape features metric and standard. This video will also show you how to use the Dewalt tile saw with the revolutionary rockmaster bullnosing and polishing system. The innovative new wheels require no special guard to be attached to your saw and set up time is minimal. This system bullnoses from the top down, so even if your tiles are not the same thickness when you install them, the edges will match perfectly.

Crosscutting on a vintage dewalt radial arm saw

Posted in Dewalt on March 19th, 2010 by table saw – 13 Comments

Un-edited test video using my restored 1956 10″ dewalt GW-I using a Forrest “Mr Sawdust” blade, now the WW-1 Triple Chip Grind/TCG blade. My hands are off the full 1 by 6 Cherry and I’m pulling the motor through the cut holding only the very top of the anti-kickback rod with my left hand fingertips. Blade climb and kickback are not existent. Warning! – DO NOT try this at home! This video is intended to demonstrate the accuracy of a vintage dewalt and the precision of the Forrest Woodworker 1 tcg radial arm saw blade. Check out my website…www.mrsawdust.com Forrest saw blades. When you require the BEST and only the best will do. www.forrestblades.com
